DALLAS, Feb. 23, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- MailKey Corporation (OTCBB:MAKY) subsidiary, IElement, Incorporated, a leading facilities-based communications service provider of enhanced voice and data services, announced today that it has begun discussions to offer MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) wireless services to its customers as part of the Company's strategy to offer SMEs value-added products and services. IElement customers will have the ability to receive wireless along with wireline local, long distance and Internet services in a combined offering, thereby reducing costs, eliminating multiple vendors, and increasing customer productivity.
"We are confident that the addition of MVNO wireless services is another key element in further developing our Managed Services Platform for SME customers, and that the strategy to incorporate reliable business cellular service into our existing bundled offering is a winning approach to creating value and simplifying telecommunications and billing for our customers," said Ivan Zweig, chief executive officer of IElement. "MVNO services can increase loyalty and customer retention, as well as creating a significant revenue opportunity for IElement, and the MVNO enabling company that we are considering will allow IElement to offer nationwide, high-quality cellular services without a tremendous investment to launch the service," said Mr. Zweig.
IElement intends on private labeling and billing its customers directly, and the MVNO fulfillment company with whom the company has begun discussions can offer multi-market distribution, customer service support, competitive plans, and competitive handset selection. U.S. consumer and business MVNO revenues are projected to grow from $1 billion in 2003 to over $18.9 billion in 2009, according to the ARC Group.
