MONTEBELLO, Calif., Feb. 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Katzkin's Special Edition package is unveiled for the 2005 MOTOR TREND car of the year. Dubbed the "most awarded new car ever," this dynamic sedan has an impressive list of accolades to say the least, and Katzkin's new package aims to capture the feeling of the 300 while enhancing its greatness.

The SILVER WING Edition features Katzkin's premium Tuscany leather, chrome-plated exterior badges, a Chrome mesh Bentley-style grille with the Chrysler Wings badge, and SILVER WING embroidery on all four seat backs. This package may also be ordered in any of Katzkin's more than 80 colors and materials.
The creative team at Katzkin made capturing the esthetic value of the Chrysler 300 its top priority. The overall look and feel of the chrome exterior badges and mesh Bentley-style grille were carefully designed to accentuate, not distract from the 300's distinct styling.
"The minute this car hit the open market, we knew it would skyrocket to success," says Katzkin owner Mitch Katz. "The 300 is an extraordinary car and we worked painstakingly to make the SILVER WING Edition reflect its beauty and power."
Because Katzkin and DaimlerChrysler already have a unique relationship, it seems appropriate that a lot of excitement is being generated over the SILVER WING Edition. In fact, Chrysler is the only automotive manufacturer to develop a custom leather program with an aftermarket company (Katzkin) directly through their own parts departments. Dealers can actually order a Katzkin leather interior by using MOPAR's parts ordering system. Katzkin is also an official Licensee of Daimler Chrysler.
