AVL Global, Inc. Announces Patent Filing Approval

PORT HURON, Mich., March 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- AVL Global (Pink Sheets:AVLL) is pleased to announce that its patent filing application for its energy generating and saving device has been recognized by the Patent Office in Taiwan and a filing number has been assigned. The Patent Office will now begin researching the technology to ascertain its uniqueness and determine if a patent will be granted. With the process now underway, the company and technology have taken a significant step towards commercialization and eventual distribution to a ready market.

The unit actually generates its own power through a technology utilizing temperature change. This technology opens up a range of applications from cooling electronic devices to larger temperature and ventilating tasks. In the case of as laptop computers the unit would eliminate cooling fans, require no power of its own and extend battery life by as much as 30%. The same principles used on a larger scale could see the unit used in ventilation for houses and warehouses, with a resulting lowering or eliminating of power demands for air conditioning and the delivery of significant energy savings.

A company spokesperson for Electro-Dynamic Research Group said, "We are very confident that the uniqueness of our product will ensure our qualification for full patent status."

AVL Global Inc. and Electro-Dynamic have recently entered into a licensing agreement, which gives AVL exclusive distribution rights to the energy generating and saving device. Once the patent is approved both companies will undertake a comprehensive sales and marketing effort and begin working with the key industrial and manufacturing segments whose products would immediately benefit from this technology.
