LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa., March 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- CTN Solutions is pleased to announce that Drew Morrisroe, the company's President and Founder, is a recipient of the prestigious 40 Under 40 award sponsored by the Philadelphia Business Journal. "I am honored to be a part of this prestigious list and proud to be recognized as a contributor to the Philadelphia area," stated Morrisroe.
Born and raised in Montgomery County, Morrisroe attended LaSalle High School and was selected to attend the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY) leadership seminar while a sophomore. At this program, he was exposed to the concept of entrepreneurship and the importance of volunteerism. Near high school graduation, he was hired by an alumnus of LaSalle to serve as his part time assistant within the information technology department of a large communications company. Morrisroe parlayed these experiences and founded CTN in 1994 while a college student.
Morrisroe graduated from Philadelphia University in 1996 with a degree in information systems and finance. In 1999, he earned a Masters of Business Administration from the same University. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at his alma mater as well as St. Joseph's University. Among his many volunteer initiatives, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Caring People Alliance - one of the oldest and largest non-profit human service agencies in the Philadelphia area.
