April Fools' Day Last Chance to Enter 'America's Funnest Kid' Contest 2005

"FUN-Tastic" Kids are Encouraged to Enter by April 1, 2005 -- No Foolin'!

SAN DIEGO, March 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- All kids, ages six to 16, who reside in the United States are encouraged to enter by April 1, 2005 -- no foolin' -- in the 2nd annual nationwide search for "America's Funnest Kid!" Download contest rules and entry form from www.lolofun.com.

National award-winning toy maker, Lolo Company, whose motto is "Live Life to the 'Funnest'!" together with the Laughter Heals Foundation, has launched the award to recognize the most FUN-tastic kids in the United States who have mastered how to create unique fun in their household, at their schools, and within their community.

Those who enter are required to write the answers to four questions, submit a funny photo of himself/herself, provide a letter of recommendation from an adult, and include an entry form signed by all legal guardians.

Judges, composed of television celebrities and comedians, educators, youth organization leaders, journalists, child psychologists, toy store executives, and LoLo game inventors will evaluate the submissions. The 2004 "America's Funnest Kid," Sarah Cunningham of Oregon, will also judge.

One overall winner, four finalists, and 50 third place winners will be selected and announced by early June 2005. America's Funnest Kid Award recipient will receive national and hometown recognition, as well as a monetary award for a toy store shopping spree, a load of LoLo games, an award plaque, and a possible spotlight on television. The four finalists and all kids who enter and meet contest qualifications will receive special recognition and some prizes, as well.

LoLo and Laughter Heals hope the national award provides youth with positive role models, and also reminds adults to be more child-like and inspires teachers to create fun learning environments.

LoLo Company is the maker of numerous humorous award-winning games for the whole family, which include the 15-games in one Bucket Blast; the hysterical improvisational game Don't Make Me Laugh in children and adult versions; Pool Pirates, and many others.

Lead sponsor, LAUGHTER HEALS, is founded in the belief that individuals dealing with chronic and terminal illness or emotional and spiritual duress can find refuge, relief, and renewal in the healing power of laughter.
