LOS ANGELES, March 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PracticeXpert, Inc. (OTCBB:PXPT) announced today that it is now a Microsoft Certified Partner, having completed the Microsoft Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Software Solutions Competency requirements. PracticeXpert's medical practice management system, Xpert Practice Manager (formerly known as PracticeOne e-Medsys), passed the Verified for Windows Server 2003 Microsoft Platform Test for ISV Solutions to qualify for the Software Solutions Competency.
The Verified for Windows Server 2003 Test Specification was developed by Microsoft to identify applications that run successfully on Windows Server 2003. The test verifies that applications will install onto Microsoft Windows Server 2003 by means of a robust installation that helps minimize conflicts among shared components, is unlikely to cause Windows Server 2003 to become unstable, and meets basic security requirements for Windows Server 2003.
Commenting on the certification, Rhonda Elward, Director of Software Development, noted that with several years of development and marketplace success, validating the compatibility of the XpertPM system on the Windows platform was a logical step. "The Microsoft ISV Partner certification will be helpful in our marketing and should provide a high level of confidence for anyone new to XpertPM," Elward said.
