SODERTALJE, Sweden, March 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Board members Rolf Stomberg and Marcus Wallenberg have declined re-election in advance of the AGM of Scania AB to be held on 29 April 2005. Staffan Bohman and Peter Wallenberg Jr. have been nominated as their successors.
Born in 1949, Staffan Bohman served as CEO of Granges AB and Sapa AB from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, he was CEO of DeLaval AB. At present, Staffan Bohman is a member of the boards of Atlas Copco AB, Sapa AB, Trelleborg AB, Dynapac AB and OSM AB, and is chairman of the Institute of International Business (IIB) at the Stockholm School of Economics. He is also a member of the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
Born in 1959, Peter Wallenberg Jr. is CEO of Grand Hotel Holdings, whose interests include the Grand Hotel, Berns Restaurant and the China Theatre in Stockholm. His board memberships include SEB Kort AB, General Motors Norden AB, Stockholmsmassan AB, Royal Swedish Automobile Club, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and W Capital Management AB. He is also chairman of the Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Foundation Memorial Fund.
