PORT HURON, Mich., April 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- AVL Global, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVLL) has been very active since our last shareholder update. There have been a number of new opportunities presented to the company which management feels should be passed along to the shareholders.
Our partners in Taiwan, Electro-Dynamic Research, has filed for a patent on the energy savings unit and a patent pending number has been received. Formal approval of the patent is expected within 4 to 6 weeks. We have been approached by a group out of China to consider a manufacturing and marketing joint venture when the patent is approved. This group is very well established in China and offers immediate introduction into the telecommunications industry there. They see the potential value of our products in that domain, along with additional cost savings by manufacturing with their associates.
AVL has been contacted by a group out of New York to consider expanding our portfolio of business into the communications business in the U.S. This would involve a private radio concern that is looking to expand an already profitable business by using the public arena. Finally, the company has been asked to consider diversification into the natural resource business by a group out of Canada. They are the owners of over eight thousand acres of mineral leases in the gold and diamond areas of northern Ontario. Sampling and testing results to date indicate the existence of till diamond deposits. An aerial survey is currently underway to determine and confirm the geophysical anomaly's found during the initial prospecting.
Management is updating its shareholders of these opportunities only to inform them that management is actively working on their behalf to try and insure the success of their investment. There is no plan to diversify the company outside of our present business plan, but we are keeping our options open to adding value when a great situation is presented. Additional information will be made available on a timely bases.
