TORONTO, April 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Produce Safety and Security International Inc, the 'Company,' or (Pink Sheets:PDSS) is pleased to update and confirm the agreement for delivery of Ozone equipment and Ozone Truck Washers to Red Hawk Farming & Cooling LLC located in Picacho, Arizona. The agreement was negotiated between Mr. Jack Dixon, President of Red Hawk Farming & Cooling LLC and "Bill" Clarence W. Karney, President & CEO of PDSS.
The updated contract has been increased from four to six Red hawk locations: Two locations in Arizona, One in Washington State, Two in California and One in Colorado. The contract also states that two Ozone units will be utilized at each location for a total of twelve Ozone units, an increase of four Ozone units. Additionally, PDSS will provide each location with the Spherequat 6400 sanitizing program.
The joint operation between PDSS and Red Hawk will also be the First Distribution Center for Food Safe Produce under a Private Label. This Distribution Center will be located in Picachio, Arizona and will be a Profit Center generating initial revenues of $400,000 per month to $3 million dollars per month as the operation progresses.
One of the primary reasons that the team at PDSS is spending all this time and effort is to enhance food safety and risk reduction programs for the entire food industry from the producer, packer, processor, restaurant, hotels, distributor, retail, transportation and the consumer. PDSS utilizes the Whitewater Ozone Patented Process which has certification documentation from the USDA/FSIS AND OSHA REGS. The Company believes that its programs, systems and proposed distribution centers in the marketplace are second to none.
