Franchise Capital Corporation Announces Director of Operations for Kokopelli Franchise Company


PHOENIX, May 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Franchise Capital Corporation (OTCBB:FCCN) today announced that portfolio investment company Kokopelli Franchise Company, LLC, operator and franchiser of Kokopelli Sonoran Grill, has appointed Paul Roegge as its new Director of Operations.

A veteran of the foodservice industry, Mr. Roegge has almost 20 years experience with restaurants and the restaurant franchise businesses. From 1985-1994, Mr. Roegge served as Area Manager and Franchise District Consultant for Al Copeland Enterprises, then the parent company of Popeye's(r) Chicken & Biscuits, the world's second-largest quick-service chicken concept based on number of units. Mr. Roegge was employed as Area Manager of Church's Chicken(tm) when it was acquired by Al Copeland Enterprises and became the only franchise consultant to handle both themes. Mr. Roegge also spearheaded the management team that developed a program that successfully converted over 80 Pioneer Chicken locations in the Los Angeles market to Popeye's franchises.

Previously, Mr. Roegge worked as Unit Manager for Brinker International, Inc., which either owns, operates, franchises, or is involved in the ownership of more than 1,500 restaurants including Chili's Grill & Bar. From 1998-2005, Mr. Roegge was employed as Senior Operation Manager of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store(r), a wholly owned subsidiary of the publicly held CBRL Group, Inc., which operates 519 company-owned locations in 41 states.
