NetRunner II(r)
A physical and logical documentation/inventory application for networks. NetRunner II(r) can be used throughout the network project lifecycle, including the planning, design, provisioning and management of equipment and circuits. Providing accurate information about physical components such as network equipment, ports, cables and logical components such as circuits, bandwidth and channels.
Inventory Management
NetRunner II(r) provides a library module that allows for the creation of pre-defined configurations. These configurations can be used repeatedly. This makes data population very rapid, and ensures accuracy of input.
Documentation
Utilizing a user-defined graphical equipment hierarchy, NetRunner II(r) allows customers to document their physical network connectivity. Logical circuits can be created based on the physical connectivity of the equipment.
Intelligent Display Design
Network topology is displayed through the Auto Schematic function that draws route diagrams, which can be stored, printed, or distributed with other network documentation. The Auto Schematic function discovers all nodes within the database and places them on the schematic in a geo-coordinate layout.
Flexibility and Customization
NetRunner II(r) allows user-definable attributes and real-time status data on equipment and circuit types. The implementation of status fields on all equipment and circuit records tracks readiness states such as planned or reserved. Its containment hierarchy accommodates inside and outside plant documentation.
