Heymo Ingeniería, S.A., Spain, which is part of the Jaakko Pöyry Group's Energy business group, has been awarded engineering contracts by CLH for the duplication of the 220-km Taleza oil pipeline in Spain. The services include basic and detail engineering and procurement services totalling EUR 1.2 million.
CLH (formerly CAMPSA) is the local operator of the crude oil and liquid petroleum products storage, transport and distribution network in Spain. The company's owners include Spanish and international oil-related companies such as Repsol YPF, Enbridge Capital APS, Cepsa, Oman Oil, BP, Shell, and China Aviation. With increasing demand for its products and pressure from environmental regulations, CLH is continuously investing in revamping and new installations.
Heymo Ingeniería has a long track record in basic and detail engineering, construction supervision and project management for pipelines and storage and pumping plants in Spain and abroad, and in turn-key contracts. This assignment is a continuation of the long-term collaboration with CLH and further expands Heymo Ingeniería's service portfolio within the oil and gas sector in Spain.
The Energy business group, operating under the brand name Electrowatt-Ekono, had net sales of EUR 146 million in 2004. Electrowatt-Ekono has offices in 22 countries and employs 1500 experts worldwide.
