DUBLIN, Ireland and DALLAS, May 31, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Trintech (Nasdaq:TTPA), a leading provider of transaction reconciliation and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced the successful conclusion of its ninth annual U.S.-based Trintech ReconNET Customer Conference, and the debut of its first customer conference in the U.K. More than 200 delegates attended, including accounting and treasury professionals in leading retail, utility, hospitality, dining, services, government and financial institutions gathered at the two events, held May 9-12 in Phoenix, Arizona and May 26 in London, the U.K.
The conferences brought together a number of world-class organizations, including customers such as Alabama Power, Advance America, Central Parking, CVS, Republic Bank & Trust and Regis Corporation, and sponsors such as Bank of America, B2Direct, Solutran, VectorSGI (a Metavante company), National City, Paymentech, AT Systems, CTM, Fiserve, Hibernia, and Spendvision. This year, Trintech's U.S. and U.K. conferences focused on helping clients expand their business perspectives to "go beyond" account reconciliation. Session topics included Operational Risk Management, Business Intelligence, Managing Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements, Understanding The Implications of Check 21, Managing Unclaimed Property, Maximizing the Benefits from a Gift Card program, and Improving Profitability using Bank Fee Analysis. The latest release of ReconNET version 7.1, which featured significant enhancements to increase user efficiency and ease-of-use, was also showcased and well received by attendees.
"The conference helps me identify ways to be more efficient in my job and how to help my employees do the same," said Barbara Gibson, Revenue and Sales Audit Manager for Tuesday Morning Corporation, a large closeout retailer. "This was my third conference, and it was the best one yet."
Donna Thomas, Sales Audit Manager for The Men's Wearhouse, one of the largest retailers of men's business attire in the U.S. added, "I look forward to the conference every year. Since the product is constantly improving, the conference is a great way to keep up to date with the latest enhancements."
Trintech's annual customer conference offers clients educational and training sessions on its ReconNET automated account reconciliation software, related financial solutions and industry issues. The conference also enables customers to interact with Trintech staff and their peers one-on-one and in round table discussions to share best practices and real-world experiences.
"Trintech's annual conference has long been a valuable forum for our clients," said John Harte, General Manager of Trintech's Funds Management Division. "We're delighted to offer a similar forum this year in the U.K. for our growing base of European clients. It is an effective way for us to interact with clients and discuss new products to meet their ever expanding needs for risk management."
