NEW YORK, June 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Trustees of PIMCO Floating Rate Income Fund (the "Fund") (NYSE:PFL), a closed-end management investment company which seeks high current income, consistent with the preservation of capital, today announced a dividend of $0.11233 cents per common share.
The dividend will be payable on July 1, 2005 to shareholders of record on June 17, 2005, with an ex-dividend date of June 15, 2005.
At May 31, 2005, the Fund's net assets were $558.0 million (inclusive of $210 million of preferred shares).
