DALLAS, June 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Quest User Conference -- Optio Booth #815 -- Optio Software (OTCBB:OPTO) today announced that it is partnering with CD Group, a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business intelligence (BI) consulting services to mid-market firms to deliver Optio's Business Process Solutions for Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application users.
"Our partnership combines CD Group's extensive JD Edwards systems integration expertise with Optio Business Process Solutions to enable JD Edwards customers to improve the speed and accuracy of document-intensive business processes such as procure-to-pay and order-to-cash," said Bill DeSpain, chief technology officer at CD Group.
At this week's Quest user conference, Optio will demonstrate the Optio Procure-To-Pay Business Process Solution that:
-- automates the JD Edwards procurement process by individually tailoring outbound purchase orders and scanning and imaging inbound documents such as shipping manifests, invoices and statements -- extracts required ERP input data from transactional documents -- integrates that document data into the JD Edwards application via standardized workflows -- provides users with direct access to invoices and other documents stored in Optio's document archive system, e.ComPresent(tm), directly from their JD Edwards applications to facilitate dispute resolution and research requirements.
Optio Procure-to-Pay Solution will help customers reduce disputed items and overpayments, improve cash flow and working capital utilization, reduce cycle times and error rates, and enable overall process throughput improvements.
Under the partnership agreement, CD Group will resell Optio's Business Process Solutions and serve as Optio's prime systems integrator in the JD Edwards market for these offerings. As an Optio channel partner, CD Group will provide related implementation, support, programming and consulting services to customers across its JD Edwards practice. The reseller agreement encompasses the following Optio Business Process Solutions: e.ComIntegrate(tm), e.ComPresent(tm) and Imaging Solutions(tm). Together, these solutions help organizations reduce the costs, errors and inefficiencies of document-intensive processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and manufacturing and distribution.
"Optio has helped more than 5,000 customers worldwide optimize their document-driven processes," said Paul O'Callaghan, Optio's senior vice president of sales. "We're excited about the opportunity to partner with CD Group to deliver combined solutions that help JD Edwards users take their document processes to new levels of efficiency and productivity."
