STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Observer's Regional Director, Nordic & Baltic, Andreas Falkenmark, has been recruited by Posten AB to become Executive Vice President, responsible for Posten's marketing and sales division. Posten is one of the Nordic Region's largest messaging and logistics operators. It is also one of the largest companies in Sweden with 35,000 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 25 billion. Andreas leaves Observer in September.
Markus Gerdien will, for the time being, take over the position of Regional Director Nordic & Baltic in Observer. He was previously head of the Waymaker division and is currently responsible for the Group's business development. Since 2004 he is also a member of the group that has managed the merger between the subsidiaries in the Nordic region and Sweden and the development of the integrated offering Observer that was launched in the region in the winter 2004/2005.
