Torbay Holdings Inc.: Anti.Fatigue Software Patent Filed

MINEOLA, N.Y., July 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Torbay Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:TRBY) announced today that it had filed a patent upon its Anti.Fatigue(tm) method, seeking to protect the invention that it represents. We believe our opportunities are not restricted to managing computer fatigue, but have the potential for application to all manner of sedentary work, and are potentially saleable in different media forms, from print to CD and video, on PDAs, MP3 players, iPods and cell phones, all of which is sought protection under a patent entitled: "Method of Managing and Preventing the Onset of Computer and Sedentary Work Related Fatigue."

The Brakemoor(tm) Anti.Fatigue(tm) system is designed to manage fatigue, so focuses on providing fatigue prevention breaks in a way that its users can understand: "It's All About You." As fatigue is personal it has to work with and for the individual, while being as effective as possible in their work environment. We believe that prior work break programs primarily focus on "activity" and the break is viewed as "time away from work." We aim to be different simply because we believe that there are many ways to fatigue but limited ways, because of how our bodies work, to de-fatigue. Our method of de-fatiguing is embodied in our pending patent. A Brakemoor(tm) break is hoped to be seen as important to performing work as is "showing up for work," an opportunity that we believe the consequences of fatigue can impact. We are also different because we do not log, inspect or profile our users' work, or their performance, and so avoid the stress that might be created by detailed employee work monitoring. There was also a case recently in which an employee, fired on the basis of a data from an activity logging program, was successful against the employer. Please see the link below.

The Brakemoor(tm) System has three stages: the "3 R's of Anti.Fatigue(tm)."

Stage 1, Re-Aeration: A deep breathing exercise that elevates respiration and increases the volume of air taken into the lungs, which raises blood oxygen saturation levels.

Stage 2, Relaxation: Relaxation is achieved by the use of Passive Muscle Visualization(tm) (PMV), our digital variant of a relaxation technique that has been successfully used in therapy since the 1930s. Muscles are focused upon, visualized, which relaxes them, helping to "open up" the circulation, thus delivering the more oxygenated blood provided by Stage 1. We believe that our passive technique better lends itself to workplace fatigue management, both in terms of time to enact and because it is "contortion free" at the workstation. Our view is that our method may be more sustainable as a workplace activity.

Stage 3, Recovery: This is a rest period where audio and visuals may be used to continue to engage the user away from work so that any benefits gained from Stages 1 and 2 can take effect.

Break Processes:

Mini Breaks: Stage 1 is also used as a more frequent "top off" Mini Break in between Fatigue Brake(tm) breaks. It prompts a Spotlight Scan(tm), a reminder for the user to look out for signs of fatigue so optimize their Fatigue Threshold value, the interval between Fatigue Brakes(tm).

Fatigue Brakes(tm):

Can consist of all 3 stages and the duration between Fatigue Brake(tm) breaks, the Fatigue Threshold, set on the basis time or work detection, can be adjusted to suit the user and determines when the break is taken.

Accessibility: Computers and computer work are not natural, so there is no such thing as disability in their regard, just "how accessible" they are. So, how a manufacturer designs their products, designates ability. Brakemoor(tm) includes audio and visual prompting options for those who might need such assistance. "We are all capable of fatigue."

Brakemoor(tm) will be launched in approximately two weeks or so. The filing of the U.S. patent, sought to be extended to a world-wide "PCT" patent in the future, allows us to complete the final specifications and prepare marketing materials. We can also now discus Brakemoor(tm) and so pursue other opportunities that we believe it will create.

As this is a detailed matter with potentially significant market impact, for the purposes of elaboration only for those who may be interested and in part an update to our shareholders, we have provided a link for further information as well as a link to Brakemoor(tm) product information.

We are the designers and manufacturers of Anti.Fatigue(tm) Hardware and Software Systems.
