The series kicks off tonight and continues for consecutive Fridays in July and like the rest of the season at Penn's Landing, this concert series will be FREE for all who attend. The performers will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. and each week will highlight a specific R&B theme. Tonight's theme is The New Sound of R&B, featuring Lady Alma and Jeff Bradshaw. According to her fans, Lady Alma is considered "the heart and soul of Philadelphia's soul scene." Also performing will be "Mr. Trombone," Jeff Bradshaw. As a songwriter, arranger, producer, and jaw-dropping trombone player Jeff Bradshaw is Philadelphia's own renaissance music man.
