The London market (AIM) is a 300-year-old trading institution, akin to the New York Stock Exchange. The London exchange provides status, prestige and access to large volumes of European investors. European markets are years in advance of American markets in the renewable energy industry, emissions trading, and continue to expand rapidly.
The London market is at the center of one of the fastest growing Renewable energy markets in Europe. U.K. Prime Minister, Tony Blair, made Alternative Energy the centerpiece of the recently conducted G8 meeting last month. The U.K. has green-lighted a large number of renewable energy projects, including co-firing, (Aberthaw, Fiddlers Ferry) and multiple biomass power plants throughout the country. Green Energy Resources is scheduled to begin biomass exports to England in 2006.
Green Energy Resources plans to begin American SEC filings and move up to a more visible American exchange in 2006 as well.
