Control Module Appoints Steve Jacob as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Move Emphasizes Company's Focus on Expansion Through Geographic and Strategic Initiatives; Commitment to Customer Satisfaction


ENFIELD, Conn., Aug. 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Control Module Inc. (CMI), the leading workforce management technology provider, announced today the hire of Steve Jacob as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Jacob will be responsible for leveraging his considerable experience and skills in the execution of Control Module's strategic growth plan.

Prior to joining Control Module, Steve Jacob was the vice president of sales at ClickSoftware, a workforce management software provider. Serving in this capacity, Steve built a world-class sales team, developed significant strategic partnerships, and closed and grew multi-million dollar accounts with Fortune 500 Companies, including IBM, SAP, HP and AT&T.

Steve was also the senior VP of worldwide operations for Net Perceptions, a leading supplier of online and offline retail software solutions, where he built international operations in Europe, the Pacific Basin and Latin America, as well as the United States. In this position, Steve was responsible for closing major deals with high profile retail companies, such as Walgreens, Sears, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lowe's, Home Depot and amazon.com, as well as with key partners such as Vignette and Broadvision.

As VP of international sales at Landmark Graphics, Steve was responsible on a worldwide basis for the top 12 major oil company accounts and transformed the company's business model from products to solutions. Steve was recruited to Landmark from Ingres, where he achieved a ten-fold growth over six years prior to the successful acquisition by Computer Associates. Steve was also the founder of Accelerate, where he specialized in opening North American operations for European software companies.
