MINEOLA, N.Y., Sept. 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Torbay Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:TRBY) today announced that, in furtherance of its partnership with Microsoft under the Microsoft Assistive Technology vendor program (MATvp), two weeks ago it had received Beta Version One of Windows Vista, the replacement for Windows XP due for release next year.
TRBY has now concluded tests of its own products on Windows Vista Beta 1 with the following outcomes. Mouse hardware is fully compatible and our own proprietary mouse driver called the Aerobic Panel, which allows users to reassign button functions, is fully compatible too.
Nib Clickless software is fully functional and compatible save for a small graphic handling modification which should be incorporated into current and pre-Vista Windows versions.
Brakemoor(tm): As the availability of Windows Vista coincided with the launch of Brakemoor(tm) we choose to take time out to test them together prior to launch, even if that meant a slight delay. Brakemoor(tm) is a new direction in our software development that is far more sophisticated than anything else we have done. We are delighted to report that, to the extent that testing is possible, Brakemoor(tm) is completely functional and should be fully operational when the additional element that Brakemoor(tm) requires, Audio player capability, are available in subsequent Windows Vista versions.
All software performed as to be expected, without any unpredictable handling and a complete absence of crashing.
