DATES: Exhibition: September 25 to October 7 Raffle: October 7 TIMES: 8 AM to 10 PM LOCATION: Main Concourse, Grand Central Terminal, 42nd St. and Park Ave., New York, NY EVENT: Exhibition and Raffle of 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo DETAILS: Two dazzling 2005 Lamborghini sports cars will be exhibited in the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal, with a Gallardo being raffled off on the evening of Friday, October 7. The car to be raffled is black with a red leather interior. The 2005 Gallardo has a top speed of 192 MPH, a 4961cc V10 engine and reaches 60 MPH in 4.2 seconds. The raffle drawing will be held at approximately 9:00 PM on Friday, October 7, in Grand Central Terminals Main Concourse following a half-hour performance by the Italian National Police Band. The raffle benefits the Columbus Citizens Foundation Scholarship Programs. Best known for organizing New York City's Columbus Day Parade, the non-profit Foundation supports cultural and educational programs, including grants and scholarships for elementary school, high school and college students. In 2005, the Foundation is providing scholarship assistance totaling $2.1 million for 608 needy students.
