The workshop was hosted by the Council on Alcohol and Drugs and attracted representatives from several international firms in the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Transportation industries that have vested interests in the extension of drug testing procedures to overseas projects.

The workshop featured presentations by Dr. Anthony Wong and Per Bjorklov, two founding directors of the International Organization of Drugfree Workplaces (IODW). Both individuals are avid supporters of the standardization of worldwide drug testing procedures.
