Delta Resumes Houston Operations Following Hurricane Rita


ATLANTA, Sept. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- This afternoon, Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) will resume service operation into Houston following the dissipation of Hurricane Rita. Delta suspended service Friday morning after having flown four additional flights to accommodate passenger demand.

Airports resuming full operations today (with first arriving flights):

 -- Houston, Texas (Intercontinental Airport) -- FLT# 1194, 1:09 p.m.

Affected customers who have purchased tickets for travel to, from or through Texas and Louisiana on Delta, Song(r), Delta Connection(r), or Delta-coded flights, may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees. Customers can visit delta.com or call 1-800-325-1999 to check on impacted flights.

Customers whose flights are canceled may request refunds. Changes to origins and destinations may result in a fare increase, and any fare difference between the original and new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking.
