Aspokem, a subsidiary of Aspo Plc, has established a subsidiary in Sweden. Aspokem AB will initially market plastic raw materials and later industrial chemicals and automotive chemicals in bulk products. In addition to Finland, Aspokem operates in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine.
"The Swedish chemicals market is the largest in the Nordic countries. Our target in the first year is EUR 2-3 million in revenue and a profitable financial performance", says Jari Ranne, CEO of Aspokem.
"We already have plastics business in Sweden. It's natural to expand operations from plastics to industrial chemicals, since several of the customers and suppliers are the same as for plastics", says Ranne.
