STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Oslo Boers, the Norwegian stock, bonds and derivatives exchange, has signed an agreement with OMX Technology, the trading technology and solutions provider, regarding an extension of the facility management contract for the SAXESS(TM) trading system until the end of 2010.
Oslo Boers became a member of the NOREX Alliance in 2000 and started trading on the SAXESS trading system in 2002. Today, SAXESS is also in use at the stock exchanges in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.
"The SAXESS trading system has met our demands concerning functionality and stability and it gives us excellent distribution to the world's investors. We are satisfied with the system and are pleased to continue trading on SAXESS until the end of 2010," says Sven Arild Andersen, President and CEO of Oslo Boers.
