Heymo Ingeniería, S.A., which is part of the Jaakko Pöyry Group's Energy business group, has signed a frame agreement with TECNICAS REUNIDAS for the engineering of several EPC projects over the next three years. Heymo's services include front-end, basic and detail engineering, and procurement services. The initial estimated value of the services is EUR 10 million.
TECNICAS REUNIDAS is a Spanish engineering company and one of the leaders in chemical, refinery and petrochemical turn-key projects, in Spain and abroad. This strategically important assignment is a continuation of Heymo's long-term collaboration with TECNICAS REUNIDAS. Previous assignments have included engineering contracts for several oil refinery units, a cumene plant, an engine test centre and a hydrogen plant.
Heymo Ingeniería has a long track record in basic engineering, detail engineering, construction supervision and project management for industrial plants in Spain and abroad. This contract further expands Heymo's service portfolio within the industrial plants sector in Spain.
The Energy business group, operating under the brand name Electrowatt-Ekono, had net sales of EUR 146 million in 2004. Electrowatt-Ekono has offices in 22 countries and employs 1500 experts worldwide.
