Deep Rock Oil & Gas, Inc. Announces Letter of Intent with Washington Gathering Systems, Inc.


TULSA, Okla., Oct. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Deep Rock Oil & Gas, Inc. (Pink Sheets:DPRK) announced today that it has entered into a letter of intent with Washington Gathering Systems, Inc. to jointly acquire existing or develop natural gas production in Northern Oklahoma. Washington Gathering Systems, Inc. is a privately owned natural gas pipeline gathering system company.

Robert Garner, CEO of Deep Rock, stated, "Our experience in drilling producing natural gas wells will fit well with Washington Gathering Systems' expertise in gathering gas production for sale to the major markets."

Deep Rock also announced that Michael D. Maxey, an experienced petroleum landman with an emphasis in locating Oklahoma oil and gas properties, has joined Deep Rock as Vice-President of land and acquisitions. Garner stated, "Mike brings to Deep Rock the necessary experience and expertise to enhance our drilling activities and our search for viable production acquisitions."
