Delta Resumes Limited Passenger Service to Cancun


ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, Delta Air Lines resumes commercial service to Cancun International Airport for the first time since the arrival of Hurricane Wilma. Delta will offer customers a single daily flight between Atlanta and Cancun with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Delta's normal operation to Cancun includes four daily flights from Atlanta, one from Cincinnati and one from Salt Lake City.

Prior to today's flight, Delta operated seven relief flights assisting more than 1,450 evacuees in conjunction with Mexican officials.

Changes to origins and destinations may result in a fare increase, and any fare difference between the original and new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking.
