Pii Kotilainen has been appointed to head Huhtamaki's global HR function as of January 2, 2006 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources.
Pii Kotilainen has worked for over 20 years with Nokia Group and has a long experience from different global HR positions, serving lately as Vice President HR, Technology Platforms. She will be a member of Group management, reporting to CEO Heikki Takanen.
Group VP HR Hannele Salminen, who has built and lead Huhtamaki's Group HR function over the past ten years, has decided to leave her operational role and concentrate on development, coaching and consultation as the next logical step in her professional career. However, she has agreed to head the company's Global HR services during an extended transitory period, reporting to Pii Kotilainen.
