Sampo plc (business code 0142213-3) has today received a disclosure under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which the total number of Sampo shares and related voting rights owned by Barclays plc (reg.nr. 48839) has on 25 October 2005 decreased below one twentieth (1/20) of Sampo plc's entire stock and voting rights
