HOUSTON, Dec. 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Thirteen-month-old Taylor Forbes, who has spent all but three weeks of her life at Texas Children's Hospital, has a very short list for Santa this year. She wants a donor heart.

Taylor was born with a severe congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) with rare complications. Through two surgeries and special medications, doctors at Texas Children's Heart Center continue to keep Taylor's heart beating while she awaits a life-saving transplant. Taylor's mom (pictured) and dad hope Santa comes through.
