Industrial Nanotech's Nansulate Coatings Pass High Level Corrosion Test

Company to Attend U.S. Army Corrosion Summit 2006

NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Industrial Nanotech Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), a company that specializes in nanotechnology innovation and product development, announces that its Nansulate(tm) coatings have successfully passed the GM 9540 P Accelerated Corrosion Test (ACT), which is the recently adopted key protocol for establishing corrosion resistance. The testing was performed by Assured Testing Services, www.assuredtestingservices.com, an independent accredited laboratory specializing in corrosion testing.

Nansulate(tm) Thermal Insulation coatings passed more than 16 cycles of the ultra rigorous GM 9540P corrosion test. Passing 8 cycles is considered the minimum for an anticorrosion coating. This particular Accelerated Corrosion Test has recently been adopted as the leading environmental corrosion test that is used universally by the Military, Auto and Heavy Process Industries. The test mimics the real-time fatigue of a coating system in a corrosive environment making it more than a corrosion test. It is more of an overall environmental test that measures corrosion, acid and salt resistance as well as other hazardous factors.

Industrial Nanotech's Nansulate coatings have independent test results from accredited laboratories confirming that they provide mold resistance as well as corrosion protection. The Nansulate product line is unique in its ability to provide three important performance characteristics in a single industrial grade coating -- thermal insulation, corrosion protection, and mold resistance. These performance qualities make it particularly well suited for numerous important military applications.

Armed with the significant GM 9540 P results, Industrial Nanotech will attend the U.S. Army Corrosion Summit 2006 held on February 14-16 in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The U.S. Army Corrosion Summit is an annual event that brings together a select group of military officials, scientists, and corporations to present and discuss solutions for corrosion prevention that includes the entire DOD -- Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.

Laurie Burchill, President of Industrial Nanotech, commented, "Having already sold our products to the U.S. Navy, this Summit will be an opportunity to exhibit Nansulate's potential corrosion solutions to the Army, Air Force and Coast Guard for a wide range of applications."
