Artificial Life, Inc. Releases 2.5G Version of the 'Virtual Penguins'

HONG KONG, Feb. 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hong Kong based Artificial Life, Inc. (OTCBB:ALIF), a leading provider of award winning mobile technology and applications, today announced the release of a 2.5G version of its first massive multi-user 3G mobile game called Virtual Penguins(tm).

The game is based on the life and fate of the popular Emperor Penguins. The game simulates the difficult life cycles these penguins endure on the Antarctic ice. Players of the game take on the role of individual penguins. They have to go through several cycles of breeding and feeding their offspring.

The new released version of the game targets and runs on all popular 2.5G phones and networks and is a stand alone, single player version of the original full multi-player 3G game version.

"Our virtual penguins give people the opportunity to play an appealing and action loaded game that is designed for 3G phones and networks even on their 2.5G phones. We have released this single player version to reach a broader client group and to make this exciting game available also in countries with no 3G networks or with a still low penetration of 3G handsets. Players can practice with the 2.5G version and later switch to the full and even more exciting 3G multi player version," said Eberhard Schoeneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
