Van Lanschot strengthens Private Banking


A number of highly experienced Private Bankers are to join F. van Lanschot Bankiers NV on 1 April 2006. The new appointees are Mr M.G. (Marcel) Engelbertink (33), Ms T. (Tanja) van der Gaag (47), Mr R.C. (Rogier) van Heyningen (31), Mr A. (Arnoud) de Hoog (29), Mr M. (Marcel) Kuijer (31), Mr R.F. (Roy) Neyndorff (51), Mr F.B. (Frits) van Olphen (57), Ms D. (Deborah) Telling (28) and Mr O.C. (Omar) Zee (36).
 
These directors and employees, who are joining from MeesPierson, have extensive expertise and many years of experience in the field of Private Banking. Their appointment is therefore closely in line with Van Lanschot's strategy of further strengthening its position in Private Banking. In pursuing this strategy, the Bank offers a product range employing an open architecture approach. Based at Van Lanschot in Amsterdam, the Private Bankers will focus on the top segment of the Private Banking market and on substantially increasing the volume of assets managed by the Bank in the future.
