Despite lower ticket sales, Kinepolis Group has achieved a respectable profit for 2005, fully in line with its profit objectives. This it owes to a strong end to the film year, its other revenue-generating operating activities and consistent cost management.
The balance sheet and income statement are presented in accordance with IFRS international accounting standards. To permit comparison with the 2004 results, the latter have been restated in accordance with IFRS rules.
Kinepolis Group is confident that it can achieve substantial growth in 2006, in terms both of audience figures and net profit.
