MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, March 15, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Astris Energi Inc. (OTCBB:ASRNF) announced today that it has shipped the initial order of Alkaline Fuel Cell (AFC) Generators to Mobile Attic Inc. Each of the generators will be used to evaluate the value of a clean and quiet power solution for Mobile Attic's portable storage product.
Mobile Attic has considerable manufacturing expertise and will be using the Model E7 Astris generators to enhance their existing product portfolio with mobile storage units with added onboard power. The Astris fuel cell system was selected because of the clean and quiet operation and the favourable economics. During the last week representatives from Mobile Attic attended training onsite at Astris.
