Newcomb as Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel. Newcomb will serve as a key member of the executive team and will be responsible for managing Web.com's legal affairs including corporate governance, litigation, intellectual property and patents. Similar to Jeff Stibel, President and CEO of Web.com, Newcomb will not take a salary until the company is EBITDA positive.

Newcomb has substantial experience in domestic and international corporate transactions and was previously Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel at Inamed Corporation (Nasdaq:IMDC). Inamed was acquired by Allergan (NYSE:AGN) for $3.2 billion earlier this month. Prior to Inamed, Newcomb was Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of Simpli, Inc., reporting to Stibel. Prior to Simpli, he was Vice President and General Counsel for the U.S. operations of Brierley Investments Limited, an international holding company, where he was an active participant in the origination and structuring of investments and the management of the portfolio companies as a senior officer. Newcomb received his B. B. A. from the University of Notre Dame, his J.D. from the University of Connecticut and his LL.M. (Taxation) from Georgetown University Law Center. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
