(OTCBB:TCNH), a defense and homeland security company, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Genex Technologies, Inc., www.genextech.com, has partnered with SaferKidz, www.saferkidz.net, to create a database of 3-D images that will provide law enforcement agencies with a profile of real-time identification and biographical information in the event a child is reported missing.
The SaferKidz program involves cutting-edge technology that incorporates 3-D images of children, as well as key biographical data supplied by parents. These data profiles are stored in a database and retrieved by authorities in the case that a child goes missing. Genex will provide its state-of-the-art 3D Camera Imaging System to create the integral 3-D images of the child for these profiles. When a child goes missing, authorities will no longer have to base their search on inadequate photos or sketch drawings, but will instead be able to instantly view extremely accurate 3-D modeled images of the missing child.
The initial pilot program began last month in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, during the base's official "Month of the Military Child." During the month, Genex's 3-D cameras have been set up at computer terminals on the base to create SaferKidz profiles for every child whose parents would like to participate. Estimates are that up to 20,000 children could be added to the database during the period of the pilot program.
