Regional Business Press Gets the High Growth Picture at Imaging3

Article Highlights Opportunities for Company's Breakthrough Real-Time 3D Medical Devices

BURBANK, Calif., May 31, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Imaging3(tm), Inc, (OTCBB:IMGG), developer of a breakthrough medical imaging device that produces 3D medical diagnostic images of virtually any part of the human body in real-time, today reports that the company was featured in an article late last week in the Los Angeles Times' regional business publication, the Burbank Leader. The company's CEO and VP of Sales were interviewed for the story which described the growth opportunities for the company's new real-time 3D medical imaging device, the Dominion(tm).

Explaining that current technology only gives a two-dimensional view in real-time, Dean Janes, the company's CEO explained the need for real-time 3D imaging by noting that "If you're a surgeon placing a catheter or a needle between the vertebrae in the spine, you constantly have to reorient your image. This means that doctors are often forced to resituate their X-ray machines or even move the patient. This obviously presents the potential for causing additional damage or discomfort for the patient."

In order to remedy this, Imaging3 has spent the last three years developing the Dominion, an X-ray machine that will give physicians the full picture -- depth, width and height at the same time -- without having to move anything. Janes' machine moves for the physician, building a three-dimensional image out of a series of quickly snapped X-rays. The machine is mobile, allowing physicians to roll them into emergency rooms or around operating tables.

Imaging3 sees its technology and the Dominion device in particular, becoming the standard of care for hospitals, trauma centers and other care facilities. Emphasizing how this real-time 3D imaging capability is poised to allow physicians to take imaging from solely a diagnostic tool and turn it into a proactive tool for use guiding highly sensitive and delicate procedures, Janes said, "This is going to change the way physicians work. It will change the way they see things."
