(Pink Sheets:ACBT), an established provider of financial personnel staffing services, professional marketing services, and management consulting services to CPA and other professional firms, announces the hiring of Michael Newstead as Vice President of Business Development.
Michael has over 35 years of staffing industry experience, serving most recently as President of Strategic Edge Solutions, which he had joined in 2000 as Vice President of Business Development. He began his career managing the Baltimore branch of BSI Temporaries, and over a 20 year period, rose to Executive Vice President with the company, helping to grow 22 branches and successfully merge BSI with three other large independent services to form AccuStaff in 1991.
While helping to successfully merge the four company cultures and combining best practices, Michael managed multiple territories and up to 26 branches. Michael left AccuStaff after six years and joined AETEA Information Technology to gain experience in the IT professional services field. He opened a Baltimore office that quickly became profitable in late 1999. Michael has his B.A. Degree in Accounting from Loyola College in Baltimore and is the former President of the Maryland Staffing Association.
