The client, a national retail provider of family apparel, footwear, home products and general merchandise with over 140 retail outlets across Canada, joins the growing retail trend in Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) for manufacturers and distributors to tag consumer goods at the source.
The company's patented NEXTag(tm), a sew-in solution originally designed for swimsuits, intimate apparel and jeans, represents the latest technology in source tagging for the EAS market. Under KMA's source tagging program, security tags are embedded in products or affixed to packaging at the point-of-manufacture as a more cost-effective solution, eliminating additional expense and labor for retail stores.
