Energy Vision International Shareholder Update On EVI Texas Operations

OXFORD, Miss., Aug. 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Energy Vision International (Pink Sheets:EGVI), a rapidly growing diversified energy company, provides an update on the activities of our EVI Texas subsidiary.

EVI Texas has opened a new sales office in the Dallas, Ft. Worth, Metroplex. We are already in the early stages of the $78,000.00 Lake Flato architect project just outside of Ft. Worth and have just closed a new 12 ton 7123 sq/ft job in South Lake, TX. We expect to close two additional jobs comprising of 10 tons each in the next two weeks.

Dallas is a new emerging market for geothermal; the average size house has increased dramatically over the last few years from around 3,000 sq ft to in some cases well over 10,000 sq ft. Cooling and heating spaces of this size using traditional HVAC systems can result in energy bills as high as $2.00 per square foot per year. The 'DeMarco Energy Miser' system used in conjunction with complementary energy conservation products such as some of the latest wall and roofing insulations can reduce that cost by as much as 70%. With energy costs predicted to increase year on year it is not hard to understand why the geothermal heating and cooling industry is considered a high growth industry.

Victor DeMarco, CEO of EVI Texas commented: "Our aim is to capitalize immediately on the business opportunity in Dallas / Fort Worth and surrounding areas. We have recruited an extremely able and professional projects manager to supervise the current and future contracts in this new operational territory."
