SELLERSVILLE, Pa., Aug. 23, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Mutual, Inc. (OTCBB:DLTM) specializing in energy recovery and construction services through environmentally-friendly technologies and products, announced that it's subsidiary, Delta-Envirotech, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Gas Imaging Technology, LLC (GIT) to provide an infrared gas imaging product, the Sherlock(r) system, for the Middle East.

Peter Russo, President and CEO, commented, "This monitoring system will allow us to expand on our product and service offerings related to the oilfield and refined product facilities. Safety and security are of prime concern in these facilities and the Sherlock(r) system introduces one of the most advanced technology applications to this market."
About Gas Imaging Technology
Gas Imaging Technology, L.L.C. (GIT) (www.gitint.com) develops and sells infrared gas imaging products (Sherlock(r)) that allow for the visualization and quantification of otherwise invisible and harmful gases that can cause both severe damage to the environment, and catastrophic explosions at oil, gas, chemical and power plants. GIT's technology can "see," detect and quantify gases, such as explosive volatile organic compound greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and sulfurhexaflouride. Quantification of greenhouse gases is crucial in light of increasingly rigid federal, state and international regulations including the Kyoto Treaty, The Gas Star Program and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. Sherlock(r) is the only system capable of remote imaging, analysis and quantification.
