HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Aug. 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Building on its reputation as a top tourist destination, Huntington Beach, California, will be home to a three-day grand opening celebration for shopping center Bella Terra, from September 8-10, 2006.
The grand opening weekend will begin with the "Taste of Bella Terra" festival from 3-8pm on Friday, September 8, and will include food, family activities, prize giveaways and live animals from Animal Planet Discovery Channel.
On September 9, the "Bella Beach Party," from 6-10pm, will feature a concert by the World Classic Rockers, cocktails and food, with proceeds from the $100 admission price going to benefit local Orange County charities.
On Sunday, September 10, "It's a Bella Sunday" from 3-5pm will feature the Children's Needs Task Force "Youth Character Awards Hall of Fame" dedication ceremony, a performance from "Peter Pan" from the Orange County Children's Theatre and a concert by the Dusty Rhodes Band.
The Bella Terra shopping center is located at Beach Boulevard and the I-405 in Huntington Beach. Planned and developed by DJM Capital Partners of California and designed by Perkowitz+Ruth Architects, the shopping center recently underwent a dramatic renovation from indoor shopping mall to an open-air lifestyle center.
