Virco is being honored for its service to NASSP.

"We at Virco are happy to be of service to school principals," said Larry Wonder, Virco's Vice President of Sales. "It's a great honor to receive this important award from NASSP."

Virco has generously supported several NASSP initiatives, including: the State and National Assistant Principal of the Year Program; the Joint State Executive Directors' Professional Development Program; the Joint National Leaders' Conference; and the Convention Assistant Principals' Luncheon.

Virco will receive the Distinguished Service Award during a special ceremony at NASSP's annual convention to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, in February 2007.

After opening for business in 1950 with just one customer, Virco has grown to become the country's leading furniture manufacturer for the K-12 market.
