Stockholm, Sweden - Levira, Estonia's largest transmission operator for broadcast, has placed an order with Net Insight, for deliveries this year. The equipment will be used in a contribution- and production network for video and data as well as in a separate Digital Terrestrial Distribution network (DVB-T).
Levira, owned by the Estonian state and the French telecom and broadcasting company, TDF, will deploy the Nimbra platform in order to facilitate new services and better usage of bandwidth, with a guaranteed high Quality of Service (QoS) in the Estonian networks for contribution, production and distribution of video and data for Terrestrial Digital TV. This ad to the existing three nationwide analog TV networks and four nationwide radio networks already in operation.
