Lewis' goal as a filmmaker is to create projects that contribute to a greater cause and involve the cast and crew to contribute toward this larger purpose. Philly Chick's current project, Wake (Starring Eric Etebari and David Chokachi), revolves around suicide. As story research began, Lewis was introduced to many organizations dedicated to suicide prevention, education and awareness. These committed people inspired Lewis and her cast and crew to create a fundraising event to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
