NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- XMPie(r), the award-winning software provider for dynamic publishing, announced today the formation of the XMPie Users' Group, an assembly of XMPie customers that will openly discuss and share variable data campaign experiences. The Users' Group will work collectively to ascertain and deliver unbiased business, marketing, and technical knowledge to allow members and their organizations to successfully develop variable data campaigns with XMPie software.
A reception for the XMPie Users' Group will be held during Graph Expo 2006 on Monday, October 16th from 5:00pm - 6:30pm in the XMPie Booth No. 4661.
The first XMPie Users' Group board meeting was held on June 13th, during which board members discussed the mission, values, and goals of the Group, defining a threefold mission:
1. To provide and encourage the exchange of information on variable data printing and personalized one-to-one direct marketing campaigns, specifically as related to the products, services, technologies, and business processes required to successfully implement these activities. 2. To actively and visibly foster dialogue between XMPie, its partners and the XMPie user community regarding the direction of best practices, products, services, and/or technologies. 3. To provide peer-to-peer networking opportunities that provide forums for business, marketing and technical knowledge exchange and opportunities for members to foster their professional growth.
"We want our customers to have the best resources available to them when using our software," said XMPie CEO Eyal S. Goldwerger. "The Users' Group will give them access to the wealth of information and expertise they need to maximize the capabilities of their businesses."
The initiation of the Users' Group comes as a direct response to the tremendous growth of the XMPie user community and to the many requests to create a venue for creative discussion among XMPie software users.
"The XMPie user community is a very active, highly creative, and collaborative community," stated Stefan Agustsson of Yoffi Digital Press and the XMPie Users' Group president. "We have worked successfully with other XMPie customers and believe that the entire industry will move forward and benefit as a result of the Users' Group.
