PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP) (www.sep.benfranklin.org), in its continuing recognition of the professional growth and achievements of its employees, has announced the promotions and title changes for four staff members.
Robert E. Gittler is promoted from Manager to Senior Manager of Program Analysis and Development (PAD). Gittler manages the new PAD Group, previously Economic Research Unit, and will provide an effective integration of program development, reporting and analysis to closely align programmatic and performance data reporting functions. He has been with BFTP/SEP for six years.
Laurel Simkovich is promoted from Controller to Director of Finance and will oversee all accounting and reporting activities. Simkovich, who started at BFTP/SEP in 2003, also now supervises payables, receivables and general ledger activities. In her new role she is also responsible for loan, grant, and contract accounting and compliance.
Elaine Fulton, the organization's Receptionist, now has the added title of Human Resources Assistant to reflect her additional human resources and administrative responsibilities.
Matthew D. Altemus, who started at the company two and a half years ago as Project Coordinator in the Marketing and Communications Group, was named Graphics Design Coordinator, Marketing and Communications.
